Sorry for the stupid questions -
CSCs?
Does it matter which I flash?

Use the TEL CSC if you're a Telstra user, OPS for Optus, and XSA for Australian generic.

Like I said before, DONT flash the ODIN files unless you already have previously flashed a 4.3 FW via ODIN. Use the zips I made instead.

Thanks heaps.
Hadn't flashed 4.3 via ODIN (just Telstra update), trying to flash other rom, got stuck in recovery mode, flashing this via ODIN worked.

And now you have the 4.3 bootloader flashed to you phone. :(
The whole point of this thread was to save people from doing that and installing KNOX on their phone (which is a new protection from Samsung).

It's too late now to go back to a 4.1.2 bootloader now too. :(

I updated with stock Optus 4.3 through Odin. Got the Knox apps but managed to disable it then froze it intitanium backup.

Perhaps silly question but what does the CSC mean and what does it do?

CSC is a sales code and its different for each country and some providers.
Do a google search and you'll find some more info

Just for the fact there is a sign of KNOX isnt good. A custom kernel still might be able to save you and SuperSU for root.

I must have a bad rooting last version because when I run SystemApp Remover it prompted my device is not rooted, don't know what to do, very much appreciated

The way I rooted my stock 4.3 Optus (with Knox)

I used the cf root recovery that you flash through Odin. Once that's done and you reboot you so don't have root because of Knox. Go to app store and update SuperSu.

From there open SuperSu and it should now ask if you want to have Knox disabled. It worked for me. Then use titanium and delete or freeze all Knox related rubbish.
