  • When you say Wipe All, you mean wipe data and dalvik?
  • Can you give us the link of the pre rooted ROMs you flash?

I already posted the solution that partially (I can use perseus kernel only) solves my baseband issues.

point 1: if the i9305 EFS does not contain any personal data (i.e. IMEI that is stored in the NV Memory).. somebody could kindly upload his EFS image?
In case you are not comfortable in sharing his EFS, it would be a good starting point to know which files and folders are contained in it.

point 2: in my case the issue seems to be related to the BOOT.IMG (perseus kernel is replacing this partition only). According to this consideration my question would be: which kind of differencies there are between the custom boot.img (perseus) and a stock one? files? permission? drivers?
they are different in size... perseus is bigger...

thanks

1) it's the same, wipe the dalvik as well if you want

2) if I flash ANY stock/custom ROM the baseband is not detected... when I apply Perseus kernel (after a data/cache wipe) MY phone overcomes.
If I change back to ANY stock kernel (boot.img) the baseband switch back to UNKNOWN and the IMEI to NULL/NULL

...which ADDITIONAL functions have this kernel compared to the stock one?

the interesting thing is that EFS partition (mmcblkp03) is not really important... the phone works even if it's 100% empty... this means that the IMEI is coded in some other place (and probably I messed up with this place)...

...in some way the PERSEUS kernel is able to solve the mess.

I hope my experience helps somebody else

I have this same problem as well, it's pretty frustrating not knowing why

Anyone already an update for the IMEI Null / Null? The Perseus kernel is a solution but I'd like to know if there is a solution without this kernel.

Thanks.
