I know that Boeffla and Devil kernel fix this issue. Is it also fixed in this one?

Since when kernel is responsible for camera problems?

I remember some problems couple of months ago, with SlimKat's (or Neatrom) camera and Boeffla kernel - video clips were completely distorted. Lord Boeffla was aware of this, and fixed this in next beta. So seems like in some cases kernel can be responsible (or maybe he changed something to patch the Slimkat's bug?).
idk, just my 5 eurocents

All camera problems are caused by faulty software - a ROM.

You're right, AK also had this bug, but in early alpha version for AOSP, and it was fixed right after, around version 1.1 or so. And it's not caused by the kernel bug, but by the fact that ROM doesn't support slice encoding. https://github.com/ArchiDroid/ArchiK...l/Kconfig#L271. This is considered as a workaround and if we manage to fix it in CM12 sources then it won't be mandatory anymore.

Okay I am rolling back to galaxy S5 mini ROM, but it uses Boeffla kernel as default, and this beast needs to be flashed on top of stock kernel, so I found this post in the back-to-n00t development thread. So can i flash this kernel and then flash ArchiKernel 1.6.1 over it??!
Thanks
