DONATE TO ME
OK. So I downloaded this ROM and tried to install with TWRP V 2.6.3.1. It says after a while that the install FAILED (in red). I am sure I have reads this somewhere but can't remember why this happens.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Cheers

It appears to be a bit more cutting edge but I also see reverts in new features and such, making me believe Yank is more stable and a little more conservative and probably a better choice for people who don't like to update their phone constantly and test new things.

On a side note, @showstopper1 can we use F2FS with this rom and a kernel that has support for it? I'd like to install S voice, where can I find the APK for it?
Yank was too unstable for me & yet Agni ain't so Agni is my preference.

Oh my oh my..
So I was becoming a little flashaholic and was trying a few ROMs..and when I came back to Hypermax v9 I always lost my settings app.
I did everything right but still the same..lost my settings app.

So this post here by NaminatoR gave me an idea so I went ahead and formatted my ext sd card after backing it up.

I used latest TWRP V 2.7.1.0 and succesfully installed it now by:

1) formatting the bitch out of my ext sd card as you said it
2) flash v8, reboot, punched in the details til I get to home screen WITHOUT doing anything and immediately flash v9.

And all is good I have my settings app too.

So my question is:
Which one made it work? Is it becoz I formatted ext sd card first or becoz I didnt touch anything b4 flashing v9?? or both you think?
Sorry I'd like to understand better.

Thank you @naminator1254.jaime.sier!

Yusuf

Could be either one of those or both, I don't have a clue. But I think its curious how you managed to install it con ext sd card.

Yes. Formatted it, put the files back in there and Voilą. I always flash ROMS from my ext sd card.

Again thanks for giving me inspiration to wipe it I think it needed it.
