The link below is to the stock email. Extract it and place the 2 apks into /system/app folder then reboot.

This app is stock in appearance. Not themed.

You can flash any compatable kernel you wish.

Please note that i will not support any issues you may have from using a different kernel.

have you been downloading anything on your phone?

ive not seen this in my use or tests


**EDIT**

I've looked into this. The Media app has 4 processes within - Download Manager, Media Storage, DRM-Protected Content Storage & Downloads. Media Storage works the instant you reboot your device and will show on your battery usage. The same for the other 3 processes.

If you reboot your phone then straight away head to Battery, refresh every few seconds and you will see this in effect.

No I havent it, I didnt restore anything on my phone yet besides whatsapp and the xda app. Running the rom as is without mods etc. It went down now to 18%. I've seen it in another rom but cant remember which one and there was a fix for it if I remember correctly
