Default Video Player..

Hiho.

May someone can tell me, if the video player that is included in Revoluttionary S5 (not v2 or v3) is available as an apk for Android 4.4.2 ?

And if YES, please tell me the name f the apk or the developer of the player.

Thank you, with best regards
Mathias

Would using a custom kernel on this rom solve some lagging problems.

It's a ROM problem itself.

I wish I could give any useful or specific feedback but the fact is that any moment that more than one app is on, the phone just refuses to respond - whether it be titanium backup at work, or play store downloading or skype or multi tasking out of Kindle - the phone would hang and take forever to refresh, including >10 seconds to show the home screen, and another ten to select an app to run. Meanwhile the screen dims and locks itself while you are waiting. Then trying to unlock it further makes it hang.

Thats a shame because the ROM is otherwise really pretty but its incredibly laggy that I would not even bother with diagnosing the problems with it. CM11 official and MIUI are far far better. its another shame that CM10.2 never worked on my phone as did others because of status 7 error.

In terms of settings, I selected the first aggressive multi tasking mod during aroma setup. other than that, nothing was done. Total user apps installed on my phone is ~90
i dont know what you guys did wrong. ive been running this rom exclusivly for the last few months, and it works amazing! best battery life by far, and everything works. only issue is after a few days (with loads of apps installed) it gets laggy. a quick battery pull and im set for another 5 to 15 days again. beats buying an s5
2013 till present: samsung galaxy s3
Network: cellC
roms: Paranoid android / revolution s5

// history
galaxy note 1 (Roms: cyanogenMod 9 nightlies / paranoid android v0.1 v0.2 v0.5/ v2.51)
Blackberry: Torch, Bold
HTC: vox (s710) rom:96dpi wm6.1 v3
Imate(htc) : jam, jasjam, jasjar
