Unfortunately, it didn't get bricked. Lol good thing it worked. I have better signal than before. I'll observe it for a while and see what happens

That's a load off! But I still don't recommend flashing an i9300 bootloader, because i9300T is a branded phone (I think Telekom or Telstra) which might have a locked bootloader. I think you should search more on the xda forum to see specs for your phone and see what bootloaders you can flash and how.

I tried this guide, but odin won't flash the bootloader because "there's no pit partition", and when I try to flash it with a pit file I found it just gets stuck on "setup connection".
Please help.

Please help.

Just check F.reset time option in odin do not check any other option, also use odin 3.10

Note: pit files are not needed for flashing any bootloader and modem so dont be careless.

Thank you for your response.
I did exactly what you said, and followed the guide precisely, but ODIN (3.10) says:

<ID:0/005> File analysis..
<ID:0/005> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/005> Initialzation..
<ID:0/005> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/005>
<ID:0/005> There is no PIT partition.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

Note: I can't boot, the phone boots to a zebra screen and that's why i need to reinstall the bootloader/os/something...

what is a zebra screen? I'm no expert but I will tell you something that might help. my phone couldn't start after flashing the n9005 lollipop on my n9008. it wouldn't even go to download mode at first.
but I tried few things that worked with patience.
1- take out the battery for a minute. put it back in. while the phone isn't connected to the pc or even to the charger. press volume down +power +home buttons at once. then release all of the three buttons when the phone just starts, then press the volume down button again until you see the Samsung animation logo. this might solve the issue.
2- download the latest official rom for your phone from sammobile. go to download mode on your phone and flash the official firmware. it may take a long time to start. just leave it after the flashing is done. it should start up by itself before 30 minutes.
