And I'm happy to report that both ROMs are smooth and responsive but unfortunately it doesn't recognize my SIM Maybe you have a patch that we can use?

Both these ROMs are for i9300 not for e210s. ROMs from i9300 will never recognize your SIM, as i9300 uses different modem and RIL. There is related to the ROM itself, not the kernel, and would need more that a patch to work. It is probably much more complicated.
You have to use ROMs built for e210s or e210k.

Yes I'm very well aware of that, I think fullgreen rom has a patch for this, but i forgot where. And fullgreen has gone MIA for succeeding updates. [emoji22]

Please check my latest version, it have a fix for SOME problems with the ROM. Most chances that it will not help with i9300 ROMs, but you can test it.
And as far as I understand, there is no single patch for this, there are many different things that need to be changed no i9300 ROM to make it fully functional with e210.

Hey guys, my shv- e210s stopped recognizing my sim card...i was using a 6.0 rom ... i experienced the sudden lack of sim card before( when my phone was on) but i removed and inserted back the sim card and it turned back to normal...now it stopped doing that... I wanted to ask if this might be a kernel problem or something with the sofware ?

Woah! I didn't know that people were still developing the SHV-E210 variants!
I own a SHV-E210K (rooted with KingRoot, bad choice but I wasn't experienced when I did this)
I skimmed through the 667 pages and if I am repeating something, let me know.
- I have SHV-E210k and wanted to get a cyangogenmod for that. However, since it shut down, I can't.
- A clockworkmod recovery or a twrp based recovery.
- Is there a way to port a rom to my device.

I own a SHV-E210K (rooted with KingRoot, bad choice but I wasn't experienced when I did this)
I skimmed through the 667 pages and if I am repeating something, let me know.
- I have SHV-E210k and wanted to get a cyangogenmod for that. However, since it shut down, I can't.
- A clockworkmod recovery or a twrp based recovery.
- Is there a way to port a rom to my device.

Second, root it with CFAutoRoot.
Then, backup your EFS.
Third, flash custom recovery with Odin.
Then, enter recovery, wipe data and flash CM13 and GApps.

Anyway, CyanogenMod is not totally discontinued. All the code is open source and available on GitHub and LineageOS is continuing it from this point.

Another thing, can I convert my SHV-E210K to a GT-i9305 and then flash the i9305 roms?

1) Battery drain should be fixed now. The phone I own is SHV-E210L that is a little different, so I cannot test it on SHV-E210K, however I think I have found the fix for all variants.
2) There are downloads for all 3 variants of E210 - c1lgt is for E210L, c1skt is for E210S, and c1ktt is for E210K, so you should use the one with c1ktt in its name. As some people here say, c1skt may also work for E210K, but NOT c1lgt.
3) You don't need to unroot. You should just check that you are on latest stock ROM because it have updated modem firmware. And if you have rooted your device a long time ago it wasn't receiving OTA updates since then, so you need to flash latest stock firmware manually.
4) I don't think it is possible to convert SHV-E210 to i9305, as they have different hardware. Most important, I9305 have Qualcomm modem and all SHV-E210 variants have Samsung CMC221 modem.

With cyangogenmod you can enable root in settings. By the way this rom is ported to SHV-E210 variants by @kmmng from i9300 sources.

Here is my adaptations for SHV-E210K:

CWM Recovery:
- Based on Chainfire's CWM recovery v6.4
- Fixed bug in original CF-CWM where it's impossible to restore backup if one of tar file bigger than 2.1GB.

Install it through ODIN. Choose E210K_CWM.tar as PDA part.

CWM Manager + busybox + root
- CWM Manager version for E210K/S/L. So, now you can make backup and restore it very easy! Just like on GT-I9300 version.
- most complete busybox version
- SuperSU as root manager.
Although it's compatible with any SHV-E210 version, there is no CF-CWM for S/L yet. Thus u need to use some other recoveries to install root and busybox (CWM Manager won't work without CF-CWM Recovery)

Install it through CWM recovery.

Everything here is compatible with any existing ROM version for E210K.

Sorry to bring this back up. But I installed the Busybox, SuperSu and CWM manager with the cwm recovery but both of the apps are crashing. Busybox, however is installed. What should I do now??
