Default Phone refuses to boot into custom recovery

I have rooted my S3 LTE and installed TWRP Manager from the Play Store. When I enter the custom recovery from the app, it just leads me to the default Android app. This is driving me nuts. I've tried to mess around with the settings, but always the default recovery. Any help?

Edit: When I try to install TWRP from GooManager by installing Openrecoveryscript, it says it can't find any recoveries. I wish the guide in the official thread was more detailed than just ten short bullet points.

Yeah, I got it working my downloading the recovery.img from the official thread with ClockworkMod. It works fine now.
