Hi,

I am having a problem with the WiFi on my I9300 where any 2.4GHz network drops out a few meters away from the access point with the error "Authentication Error Occurred". This does not happen on 5GHz APs. I have tried three different routers and a variety of authentication methods.

I have searched this issue extensively, and whilst I have found a number of people experiencing similar issues, I have not found a solution. I am beginning to believe it is a fault in the 2G hardware.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Cheers

Hello,

I have the same problem. At home I have 5 GHz. There I have no problem with Wifi. But when I'm with friends or relatives I have everywhere authentication failure. I think all 2.4 GHz wireless. I am looking for a long time for a solution. I have already tried all the possible solutions. But had no success.

Greetings from Germany Ingo
