Default Entering Download Mode with a faulty home button

Hi!

I have a family member of mine that wants to root the phone, or atleast install a rom that has on-screen buttons, or just enable them, for that root is needed.

Altho, as the home button is faulty, I can't get into download mode.
Please give me your suggestions, except a USB jig.

I tried booting up phone and plugging in USB cable, does not work.

DONATE TO ME
If you have access to ROM just install any app like Mobile Odin, TWRP Manager, ROM Toolbox etc. to boot into Download Mode.
Or use ADB to reboot device in DM or one of the many Toolkits if you like it better.

Just remember op one of them tool kits won't help when you need to get to recovery. Boot loop is a three button combo to get to recovery and fix. No tool kit will help you then.
IMO fix home button before you try anything.
