I was on stock 4.4.2 on my s3, soon after i flashed a 4.3 rom that bricked it. If i have to debrick my phone, can a 4.3 debrick file work using the SD card method ?

No such thing as stock 4.4. Read the thread on sd card method, mixed results.

If you can still access recovery try wiping data (this will wipe your internal SD as well)
