Default Does NANDroid restore the flash/binary counter

I'm going to send in my phone for a new front glass (i know i should do it myself but i have to pay for the screen) and my phone is rooted with a custom ROM. If i were to restore a backup i made when my phone was stock (no root, no ROMs, no kernels etc.) will my flash/binary counter be set back to 0?

No, flash counter is within the bootloader and can only be reset by triangle away. Guides on how to do this are in general forum, sticky threads.

If you are paying for the repair then warranty indicator is irrelevant?

I'm not paying for it, i have insurance that is void if the phone is "modified".
