Default freezing/debloating

is it safe to freeze these:
what does smartcardmanager and smartcardservice do?
what about factorymode ?
can someone please explain because they are always running in ram, but I don't understand what they are for?
AOSP 4.4.4 or PORTED SAMMY 4.4.2 on my Galaxy S3 i9300
Current ROM: Carbon ROM 4.4.2

Search would find the answer its all posted in a specific thread in Themes and Apps .

You can simply freeze them and see of they affect anything. It would be much quicker than posting a thread and waiting for answers.
