Hey guys,
Finally deciding to root my Galaxy S3 GT-i9300

Just a small bit of help i need Just reply a rooting guide for my S3
Its currently on JB 4.1.2

And please list some roms which you think are good (Im not saying the best, there is no best)
I would prefer stable releases and hope it is near stock android with no touchwiz but, i should be able to access the features the S3 has

Hoping for a reply. Not asking for much

Thanks

Service Just one more thing :)
Hey

I currently downloaded this ROM
ArchiDroid v2.4.1 (Hope its right)

And checked the FAQ on how to root
It shows the Auto CF method which seems simple but doesnt install a custom recovery

Is that fine or is there another method to root with cwm preferred. as i am used to flashing new roms via cwm
Or is odin the best way to flash this rom?

Use odin and CF Autorott from my signature root link, then you can install any custom recovery you want, there are two also linked in my sugnature

Alright! all is good Thanks a lot again

I rooted using odin(root checker gives a thumbs up), then installed philz touch using odin again

Currently backing up the stock ROM

I am going to install the custom rom (Hate samsung roms) via Philz touch since it isnt a tar.md5 to use odin

I shall post once all goes well
