Default [Q] Samsung Galaxy S3 Root

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 with version 4.3 jelly bean and I want to know if this method is legit:

I want to root my phone to unlock the sim without paying if its possible, so if anyone knows how can i do it, please post some tutorials that might help me.

Sorry if im repeating threads but i was afraid of following the wrong thread and mess up my phone.

Can you recommend me any website or app to unlock for the less cost? If its possible i would prefere without rooting.

Rooting is easy you just have to flash CF-AutoRoot into the device using Odin. There are plenty of Tutorials online regarding this.
And as @boomboomer said the free methods don't work so don't rely on them.
