Default [Q] wifi only works when next to router?

Hi peeps

Ive installed 4.4.2 liquid rom and various other cm based roms (neat rom and cm 11) and my phone will only connect to my wifi router when im stood next to it and as soon as I move away it disconnects. I dont want to go back to 4.3 because of the new efs format. Does anyone have any suggestions to solve the problem? All other devices work in the house so I know its not the router...

Cheers peep!

Wipe and flash a full stock firmware and test before you change or restore anything. If still the same then it's a hardware fault.

Ok. Will do. If I go back to stock I am going to have the efs v1 v2 problem by going back to stock?

Ok so I went back to stock and wifi did not work, so I agree it must be a hardware issue. However, I did get the no network issue which I was able to resolve by flashing patched modem

Does anyone know how I get back to stock andnot needing use patched modem?

Either flash a firmware compatible with your efs version, EMG4 and later for v2, anything earlier for v1; or restore an efs backup to remove the problem.
