Default Does siyah kernel really fix the sudden death issue?

I have a 16gb s3 with the same eMMc number and rev version as the one with the brick bug,am running siyah kernel v1.8.8,supposedly its based on the latest update7 sources which fixes the SDS issue with exynos,so am I safe?
