Question Volume Button Disable Feature

Hi all,

As you know you can change the status of the ringer with the sound button at Galaxy S III. When you press up at mute it changes to vibrate and you press it at vibrate it changes to sound vice verse. But as a normal person and with a normal handling of the phone, when I want to press the lock key I mistakenly press to the volume button with the other edge of my hand because I am holding the phone...

So question is; how can I disable this "changing status with volume keys" features?

If your question is about this feature on JB leak, I talk about this in the lastest leak thread :

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...1871338&page=9
Device : Sony Xperia Z1 (Black - International version C6903)
Current : Android JellyBean 4.4.4 -> Stock ROM : 14.4.A.0.108 - Root (Towelroot exploit) / Bootloader locked - but unlockable (TA partition saved)
Nokia 3310 > Sanyo S750 > Sony Ericsson K610i > Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic > Nokia N900 > Samsung Galaxy S3 > Sony Xperia Z1

If I help you, give me a "Thanks".

Nope it is not the same problem. It changes to Sound-Vibrate-Mute-Vibrate-Sound but the problem is, I don't want this feature!

So, any help, idea, walk through from anyone?

Ok, sorry ! I think the solution is to modify system/framework/ext.jar.

Install Volume Control+

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....cb.volumePlus

It enables you to lock the volume in place so that the volume buttons will not adjust the volume.
