Exclamation [Q] Wifi Issue after Cf Auto Root + Philz

Hello,

I own a I9300 with the following info:

Android Version: 4.1.2
Baseband: I9300DXEMB1
Build: JZ054K.I9300XXEMF6

Phone was fine before I did anything to it. No lag, Wifi working perfectly. Nothing wrong.

I then flashed: CF-Auto-Root-m0-m0xx-gti9300 from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1957273

Nothing abnormal here, flashing with odin was a green light pass, with nothing else except reboot ticked. The only thing worth noting is the ID:COM port was showing yellow in Odin v1.85 as provided in the CF auto root package. Flashed as pdf.

What I did next was to flash Philz custom recovery, philz_touch_6.07.9-i9300 , using the .zip method in stock recovery from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2002953 . Flashing was okay but I did not notice any problems.

Tried using triangle away but the app couldn't load up.

Now here's the problem. After flashing these two, my phone started to get a bit laggy. Loading apps like Facebook and instagram and videos on data is fine. But they do not load properly when wifi is used. Videos would not load. Facebook pictures does not load and instagram cannot refresh its feed. Other apps work fine on both data and wifi.

Did a partition cache wipe and dalvik cache wipe. Lag is still the same, Facebook photos manage to load, instagram and videos remain the same.

What did I do wrong here? Any help would be appreciated.

I can tell you one thing that kernel supports WiFi and modem data... So maybe try changing kernel now that you are rooted its worth a try I guess.. But first you should make a backup in your recovery of your current ROM and efs(with an app k tool from Google play or in Phil's recovery itself in advanced options before flashing the kernel) in case anything weird happens you can just revert back to your backup...
