If it restarts the phone, then it's not a kernel thing, I had that also on my daily, I expect I removed something (app) that it does need.

I flashed the full ROM and it worked, only my kernel still won't send any sound to the HDMI, only the image, that's on the todo list...

Re: [Kernel][2013/FEB/15][GT-I9300][Samsung Update 7][3.0.64] Yank555.lu kernel v3.2
Next build will include latest mali r3p1-01rel1 - In simple words: a better graphic and memory support for i9300. (This also means, don't flash any other custom kernels until they merge latest mali)

Thank you for amazing work dev!

Just a quick one - 1 are you gonna implement the above? I am using rootbox 4.2.1 and I would love to use your kernel on future versions as I am now. Thank you

Re: [Kernel][2013/FEB/15][GT-I9300][Samsung Update 7][3.0.64] Yank555.lu kernel v3.2
Hey Yank, I managed to get the Bestmultitaskingfix mod to work. I enabled zram and chose 250mb and now when I type free in terminal emulator it shows something like 250.000 in "total swap". I don't really know what means doing this but now multitasking is great, I can have more than seven apps running at the same time, brilliant!

Do you think this is a good solution?

Thank you very much.

This is on top of the OP :

This kernel will not work with new leaked 4.2.1 firmware(s) (XXUFMB3...)

We need a new source drop from Samsung to rebase the kernel, so please don't ask in the thread !

So I guess the answer is no

Multipdp is a modem issue. Its when there is constant data conections coming from the modem and server. Its what can keep your phone from going into deepsleep.A modem change can fix it or restricting background data in settings data use.Not always a kernel problem.

Hi Yank555, would you care to add open-source exFAT support? Best regards.
