Updated my phone to Slimbean stable version of 4.2 and this v1.5 kernel.

Tested v1.5 on Slimbean 3.1 (4.1.2) and its a lot slower in antutu than the v1.4i but my S3 feels much smoother and faster in daily use

So thanks a lot for your work, i'm loving this kernel, the AOSP and Samsung version

Yes, well benching tools are really not representative of actual speed

Plus if you use the yankasusq governore, it's trimmed to save juice, not to produce high scores in benching tools, so it's kind of normal

No, the latest has been updated. Read the ROM changelog. Also this question would be better to have asked in the ROM thread

Now 1.5A/h have proven safe for some users that use it, but that only makes sense if you du have a power source than provides that much.

By that I mean there's no need turning AC levels up if you're using the (crappy) stock charger, as it barely handles delivering proper 1A/h

Since I don't have any AC charger providing more than 1A/h I don't use it myself, I only use the USB at 1A/h because of my car charger (which is labeled and gives 1A/h) which is wrongfully detected as USB port and thus would only charge at 475mA/h instead.

As long as the other kernel has swap support compiled in and init.d scripts are executed, yes

Okey dokey. Yep. It's the standard samsung charger I'm using. So useles to me setting higher values.

Made in the meantime a 1 GB swap partition on my class 10 sdcard and tried that hard swap feature. Looks fine to me.

Could we have in upcoming kernel releases a option to save and load our own custom preset? I'm flashing with every day CM 10.1 nightlys and have each time to flash the kernel again. Such a feature may give me a bit more of convenience.

As the rom comes with its kernel, I don't see how this option could be available in Yank kernel...

You can make a custom addon.d script that will save your settings during flash (as long as you flash the same ROM, update)
