I'm proudly present my latest tool which can easly and fast handle the cache.img files in every Samsung ROM!!

Cache Ripper

Download tool Here! (Command Line Version)

Code:
USAGE: CacheRipper.exe <cache.img> <output.zip>
or get a UI version if you don't like the command line tools!

Download tool Here! (UI Version)

What id does?
- It takes a cache.img file and unpacks the cache inside it to widely readable and reusable zip file

What for?
- Current methods requires you to convert cache.img to ext4 format and then use some weird tools to mount it as filesystem and then you can see/unpack the contents, using Cache Ripper you simply provide two arguments to it which is cache file and output zip file and voila! after a blink of an eye you got cache file and you can read/modify it and FLASH WITH CWM!!!
as it contains all things needed to flash (including scripts).

very neat indeed

finally no need to convert to EXT4 manually

and also no need to manually mount to recover the system files in linuxDisk!

you saved all the Developers a lot of time with this
