I made a boot animation for my micromax a089 rooted.. 4.2.2 512ram 1.3ghz
It is not working..
when phone boots up, it is just a backlit screen till the desktop comes..
why is this?
custom animations from the internet does work though..

It is not allowed to compress the bootanimation.zip.

Btw, i just replaced the images from a custom animation, with my own and it worked.

When you create the bootanimation.zip, you may choose to no compression. In winrar it says store or similar.

i made it zip and selected store..
yet it didn't work

Now I belive I have found the error, try to add a blank line in the end of your desc.txt

I typed the first two lines and then hit enter(return) key.
The cursor went to the next line.... I then saved it and made it a boot animationand Voila.. It worked!!!!..
