ok. I am not a total noob but relatively new to the latest way to flash roms etc....

I have a I9295 int model and I am based in UK on EE. Still no sign of the 4.4.2 OTA (currently 4.2.2) anytime soon after numerous calls and emails to both EE and Samsung.

I gather I can flash 4.4.2 stolck rom that is doing the rounds in Europe as the I9295 is the same phone in all regions

but the trick is finding the right guide to do this? can anyone point me in the right direction (I have searched for hours but can't single out the one I need) - or can someone suggest if this is ok to do in UK?

all help appreciated.

If you are fine fine with the Stock ROM, an update for EE customers seems to be just released.

Otherwise flashing that ROM from another source should be pretty much the same like any custom ROM. Note that you probably will void that internal counter for flashing Custom ROMs (so you will no longer receive Samsung OTA updates unless you reset that counter).
