Ok so I lost my phone couple months ago and reported it lost and claimed it lost with insurance and got a new one a few days after.

So basically it was in between seats in my car and was crushed so the lcd was damaged as well.

I looked online and a new housing and lcd was around $155ish, I also checked swappa.com if the imei was bad or not, and it came up clean. It's been months so do you guys think this is accurate? Do you think it's worth it to fix it?

And also I told my dad I would just sell it for parts but he said we might get filed for fraud cause he "reported it lost" if all else fails do you guys think it's ok to just sell it for parts? even if it's bad imei? or is he just being too paranoid?

Well if you reported it lost and now found it it would be best to let your insurance company know. not doing so and then selling the device would be considered fraud.
