S4 Wont Turn On
Im on MDK still from day one. Only problem is my phone stopped working out of the blue a few weeks back. I have since jumped to he Note, but would like to revive my S4. Basically, when I can get it to look like it is turning on, is will show the samsung bootscreen and then turn off. I can only get htis far when I pull the battery and replace. Otherwise, I cant get any further. I have multiple batteries plus a wall charger, so I know its not batteries. It wont go into stock or custom recovery as well. The one thing people elsewhere have brought up is the power button issue. Cleaning of or replacing of. I have gutted my phone a couple of times in hopes it will fire back up magically. Anyone have any ideas, suggestions?

My wife and I are both running Danvdh 4.4.4 GPE on our MDK's. Haven't needed to upgrade to a new device because of Danvdh.

Same thing happened to me a couple months ago. Then mysteriously appeared again today. A little trick to get in, after reinserting battery tap the power button repeatedly. My phone will boot up. I recommend a while and clean flash.

I thought I was going to have to go s5 or note4 but still not ready to lose my s4 32gb

Please let me know if it worked or if you find the cause.

Cool. I'm going to wait a bit though since 5.0.0 was just released for the gs4 gpe edition. I may have to go back to LG at this rate. I really do like that LG G3. It feels much better in the hand compared to my Galaxy S4. They just don't market like Samsung. TouchWiz is just horrendous to use
