My question is that I'm trying to now uninstall hyperdrive and go back to stock. Is there a way to do this while keeping root and not having to use Odin? Because that was a long process. Thank you in advance!
You can use Odin to flash a factory stock 4.4.2 image, then use Towelroot to root that. One long step (Odin Kit Kat), then a very quick root.
My Android devices:
vzw Samsung Galaxy S4 stock NC5 rooted
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, also stock but rooted.
VZ Droid Incredible 2 rooted but otherwise stock.
