Thanks for your helpful documentation.

I've created a script which deletes all the apps from Post 1.
Use SH Script Runner with superuser mode.

You use the file on your own risk.

Tested with I9505OXAHOB7 and I9505XXUHOD7. Restart your phone after usage, or it will crash later.

I just ran the script on SH and i got a "unmount: denied" message, the I reboot and it crashed with a system FC message. I just wiped cache and dalvik cache and it's still booting... waiting... Any suggestions? Thanks.
EDIT: Now it's working fine.

Minus the failed mount commands (you can do this manually in root explorer), this script seemed to do a pretty good job! Thanks to the OP and you!

I would like to delete google apps as follows: play books, play movies, play music, play games and play newspaper stand. What's the names of these and where do I look for them?

Discus your Script elsewhere AND you have to ASK me if you use my List for anything. Read the rules man!

After deleting everything in this list Optical Reader app has stopped all the time.

Some important files needed are deleted.

Also from the notification bar, "S Finder" and "Quick connect" stops working...

"Easy mode" through settings seems not to have any affect either...

Oh really? :good:
If you realy need this things you shouldn´t delete the belonging APK´s and witch important files did you mean, you have to be more accurate!?
If you need it, dont delete SFinder and QuickConnect folder, simple as that.
Easy mode it the EasyLauncher and EasySettings Folder!

Where is the problem?
And if there is a way to kill the SFinder and Quick Connect from pulldown menu i will rapidly use it! ;)

I will explain where the problem is...

a debloat list means that you remove from the phone any unnecessary software without touching any of the phones functionalities...

Of course every user has different demandings, but this doesn't mean that a debloat list must includes certain phone functions.
In this way, Air view, motion gestures, voice control, face recognition etc can be also flagged as bloat. After all, this is still the stock rom, isn't it?

To the point, i don;t know why "optical reader" stops. I have read that maybe chaton apk causes that but i think it is probably a lib file.
In my opinion, because this app can't work correctly it is better to add it to the list in order to be removed.
For those who wants to keep, then it is better to keep all the lib files in case of any future use...

It´s my method to debloat and I tuck much work in it to show other guy´s how they
can debloat much since years. With 5.0.1 it comes another operation structure and that
might cause trouble, but we can talk to make things better, could we? :)

I don't used that Optical Read, but you are right it does not start if you delete
all Files in the List.

I checked it and now it works fine, here you go mate!

SamsungOCR3.apk needs the following to start:
Folder Root/System: opticalreader (with all it´s contents)

Folder Root/system/lib:
libBarcodeDecoderPacked.so
libDioDict3EngineNativeService.so
libDioDict4EngineNativeService.so
libDioOcrEngine.so[/B]

I will edit my List therefore! ;)

Any noticeable performance increase or is this purely a space thing? I remember my S1 ran much smoother after a debloat but I've not seen any performance gains on this Xiaomi.

thanks for the feedback! :good:
In addition, if we want to restore a system app i.e "EasySettings" what is the correct procedure to do? Of course without the need to wipe data.
i restore some of them back to their folder but after cache and dalvik wipe the app is still not a system's app...

i think it will be a good idea for an "undo" guide.

Even though you've done a great work at researching these apps, you can't really demand permissions for using the information.

Great job on putting the list together.

But I also agree with Xeleth. The guy earlier in the thread did everyone a service by creating a debloat script.

I understand and respect that you were not going to script it yourself, but not everyone has a few hours to burn to go through the list one by one and hope they didn't make a mistake... automating it is the way to go.

At one time or another you might have also learned from other people's posts, do you ask every single person for permission to use each piece of information? How would you feel if someone told you that you cannot create a program based on information posted in a public tutorial on XDA?

    Ultimate BLOATWARE (deBloat) List
    for Android 5.0.X (Lollipop) official
    (ROOT required)!

After all: Wooooooooooooooooooooooow!!! That is fast 8)

    Reason for this list:
We want a space-saving stock System with all necessary functions available!
We DON'T want custom Kernel & custom Recovery!
To mod your System use Xposed Installer/Framework with Wanam Xposed (ROM modding without modifying APKs)! :good:

You can delete or move this Apps, Libs and Folders easy with "Root Explorer" App (Playstore)! Use the latest version for Android 5.0.x please!

After cleaning, restart and use Playstore App "SD-Maid" specifically Menu: "Corps Finder" to kill all remains!!
It is the fastest and safest way (I will not list all remains any more!!)

    Unbloat Script

    Thanks for your helpful documentation.

I've created a script which deletes all the apps from Post 1.
Use SH Script Runner with superuser mode.

You use the file on your own risk.

Tested with I9505OXAHOB7 and I9505XXUHOD7. Restart your phone after usage, or it will crash later.

SCRIPT REMOVED - See this post for information
    4
Why did you remove the script? I was using it when installing a new rom. I don't want to waste 2 hours to clean files...
