Didn't work from CM 11-20141123-ks01lte

Hi,

First of all, thank you very much for your work dude !
What a great idea you had !

I downloaded the ZIP file and tried to install it ; installation worked like a charm BUT when I'm rebooting my phone it can't reach the bootlogo. I'm stuck at the kernel image (Galaxy S4 I9506) and after 3 minutes my screen is going blue.

I did the 3 wipes before install. I tried without wiping but didn't work either.

I'm coming from CyanogenMod 11-20141123-NIGHTLY-ks01lte

Finally someone make rom for this phone. I don`t know why Cyanogen or some big guys don`t have working version for this phone. This is like S5 only 5% slower phone.
I hope so this version will work nice like Pac Man for old nexus...

Welcome back,

I tried using TWRP but didn't work, I figured that it's the CM version (kernel, radio ...) who seems to be different with your version of PAC.

I'm trying with other version of CM.

I'll keep you in touch !

Hey,

If you're using E330 it won't work ; it's for ks01lte.

I'm using TWRP, I wiped my phone then I flashed CM-11-2014005-NIGHTLY-ks01lte.zip, then I flashed PAC and Gapps.

I'm starting to use it, I'll keep you in touch about my experience.

well after checking with phone info samsung app, i saw its device type: ks01lte, product name: ks01ltexx, origin: vietnam, csc: singapore,

    Review PAC 20141208

    First, thank you very very much Jonte28 for your work, the time you spent, this ROM is so amazing, it's now on our device and it's thank to you.

    Well, it's not a beta version anymore, PAC ROM is stable, you can use it as your daily ROM.

    This version is more stable than the previous one :
    • No FC (except for Pac Console wich is logical because it's not an official version yet).
    • I had no reboot in almost three days.
    • ROM is more fluid too, I mean everything is more responsive and dynamic.
    • Graphics looks even better.

    Battery is better :
    • Compare to the last version battery is better (around 5% more at the end of the day).
    • You finally can have a multicore power saving wich is awesome.
    • Battery is charging faster then before.

    See my last review to understand properly.

    PAC Tweaks :
    • Init.d is working now, no blue screens or reboots like in the previous version.
    • Pie seems to work better (the screen is more sensitive).
    • Every tweak is working and stable.

    "Problems" :
    • In mobile networks > Battery saving mode > When you set it, phone stays in 2G when you unlock it, even if you put the phone in LTE mode it's not working, you have to disable it, reboot to have LTE back.
    • Streaming videos is not working, I tried on many explorers, none are working, wich is strange because when you use Mxplayer, it's working. Maybe you should update libs ?
    • Bluetooth is working for around one hour and stop itself while you're streaming music OTA, don't understand why, NOT SURE it's the ROM, but it's the first time (occured twice) I have that.

    Suggestions :
    • In the QuickSettings Drawer, may you add a tile to switch from LTE to 3G like in CM11 version ?
    • May you manage double tap on the screen to turn it on like on Nexus ?
    • You should add time_daemon from cyanogenmods jira of hlte and replace it in /system/bin of the PAC version. It will solve the issue of date and time each time we're rebooting.

    Changes : More stable than the previous version : NO FCs (except for PAC Console).
    Should install it men.

    Do whatever you want dude, I think you don't have to Wipe but in my opinion wipe is the best solution ever. "You don't paint a dirty wall."

    Keep in touch at the end of the day for reviewing my experience of this news version.
