Trying to find boot.img and recovery.img on the G800H
I'm trying to dump boot.img and recovery.img (I've already found build.prop) for my device (SM-G800H S5 Mini Duos (Snapdragon)). I'm following the instructions I've seen here and here, but # cat /proc/mtd and # cat /dev/mtd/mtd1 both return "No such file or directory." Is there some permission I have to set to be able to view these files from inside a su shell?

I would like to root my G800H but i guess there are couple of ways to do that (autoroot with small file, other big files over 1gb with everything in them etc - I don't get the difference). I'm not a pro and I'm wondering if there's a way that is the best / the easiest? I just want to root the device so I can install titanium backup and restore couple of saves from other phone and freze some apps I don't need -> no cutom roms, no custom themes etc (if that's important to get the answer).
