Do you have a wet, unresponsive phone on your phones? Have you ever accidentally dropped your cell phone in the sink, or even worse... the toilet? What you would do? Here is some tips, other suggestions?
1. Take your phone out of the water
2. Donít press any buttons.
3. Dry the outside of the phone off.
4. Remove the internal components.
5. Give it a few shakes.
6. Stick it in some rice.

once I recovered an iPhone (not mines) complete by
1 submerged him complete in alcohol i.e. ethanol: it resolves water
2 submerged him complete in ether: it resolves ethanol (with the resolved water)
3 about 2 hours in the oven on 40įC: the ether evaporates complete
4 iPhone was complete dry and functional

Water resistant maybe, but not waterproof. I have read literately hundreds of cases (Between here, android central and a few other forums) where the S5 (Active or regular) have sustained water damage. Some folk were really mad when they found out that water damage, VOIDS the warranty. So resist the urge to test it out. I even read where one person tried the 30 minutes in a cup of water test. To find water damage, and Samsung denied the claim. Of course his version of it took a whole screen to recite.
