I guess you are rooted and you mean updating a stock rom? By OTA or flashing with Odin?

1. OTA: enable root survival in the superSU Pro app and you should keep root after the update.
2. Odin firmware flash: Flash the updated rom with Mobile Odin Pro, enable everroot and the other 2 options and you also should keep root.

I'm running rooted, stock. 4.4.2

As I understand it, .3 is the current version.

I'd like to update to .3 without losing all my guff.

Make sense?

Not realy, do you mean update to 4.4.3? There is no stock 4.4.3 rom atm afaik.

Exactly!

No stock 4.4.3?

No worries then.

Sorry for the confusion!
