There is no reason that an app necessarily needs an app drawer icon. The app drawer is a convenient way to reach a user interface or start an app.
Knox is a system app that is always running. And really doesn't have any user adjustable features, so it hardly needs an icon. The few Knox related features that have user settings e.g. Private mode have been incorporated into the Settings menu. Settings menu > Device > Private mode
