[Q] Edge open for developers

So I watched the hands-on from Carphone Warehouse and he specifically mentioned the Edge 'feature is open to developers'. This is the only place I heard this and was wondering if there are any other sources citing that the Edge features will be open to developers to take advantage of (Edge for 3rd party app notifications, etc. etc.)

Unless Samsung says it's open for developers to use then I wouldn't take anyone else's word (other than a developer) but certainly not a retailer selling the phone. Samsung isn't pro-developer,.

Exactly my thoughts.. Hence why I thought it was worth asking on here whether anyone heard something a bit more 'official'

mostly it is true.
samsung have already released the SDK for NoteEdge. should be the same for S6 Edge.
