The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the successor to the first popular Android tablet, the original Galaxy Tab. The Tab 10.1 differs from its predecessor by packing double the cores, double the RAM, a larger and higher resolution PLS display, and most importantly, Android 3.0 Honeycomb. While first party firmware updates currently top out at Android 3.2, the development community has given the device several highly usable Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich ports.
