After flashing a custom rom my tab 2 P5110 would not boot. At startup, the tablet is stuck on the Samsung logo. Also, no sound with it. I have tried all the possibilities. Nothing helped. But, now I have the first stock rom 4.0.4 installed and working. But, I can apparently do not update. I'm going to boot into recovery mode and there is E: failed to unmount efs / ...
I've also find that this is an important folder is probably true than my IMEI number has disappeared. I would be rooting the tablet, but that does not help, because he remains suspended again, so also in the re-flashing the latest stock ROM.

What can be done?

Seems like you flashed a file not made for our Tab.... I have seen some user flashing a recovery from a different device wich flashed the recovery to our efs-partition... Lol.
If you don't have a efs-backup there is nothing you can do. You need to send it to someone who can restore it, e.g. service center.
