All the ones I tried looking on Amazon look questionable and low quality. I rather have one built into a folding case than a standalone bluetooth keyboard too.

I'm looking into getting one. Did you get that one? How is it?

I haven't used these specific ones but I have used them on a Viewsonic 10" tablet and various Archos tablets. The keyboards are ok, but biggest issue is the tablets never really fit in the case as well as I wanted and always tended to be a little loose. Often, I had to mod the case in order to add cutouts for the plugs - even on cases that supposedly where specific for the tablet.

I think a confortable keyboard has to be at least 25cm (10") wide, otherwise the keys would be too small and tight together for practical use.
The Tab Pro 8.4 is only 22cm (8.5") wide, and therefore keyboard cases for that size would be a functional compromise (including the Samsung Tab S 8.4 one)

My advice is to use a quality brand BT keyboard; I use a 20€ Acer IconiaTab one (26cm x 13cm wide), works nicely.

Another interesting, albeit pricier, choice is Microsoft´s Wedge (25,6cm x 10cm), keys are maximized and it should be even easier to type on.

P.S. good article on BT keyboards:

I don´t have that keyboard, but I have a MS Mobile keyboard 5000 (Sculpt design), and it works fine.
The WINDOWS and F1-12 keys don´t do anything as expected. Volume keys are functional.

I just bumped into Dell's Venue 8 BT keyboard, similarly sized to the 8.4 Tab Pro.

It seems that for the size it is one of the better options (optimized layout with one row less of keys= larger keys)

Has anyone tried one on an Android tablet?

Lenovo keep putting their bluetooth tablet keyboard on sale for around $15. I've been thinking of grabbing one of those.
