Default Flash T320(Wifi) ROM on T325(LTE), what happens?

If you flash a T320 ROM or Kernel, will it work on the T325, just without the LTE capability?

If you can't do this, why?

Thanks

Unless the ROM developer has done extra work to make it multi-device compatible, it will not work.

The hardware is not the same, even though they sound very similar. To boot you need to have a kernel that has the appropriate device configuration files built in. If you boot a kernel (aka a ROM with a stock kernel) it will try to look up the hardware identifier and fail to find these configuration files.

Technically, you could likely boot a t320 rom by replacing the kernel but I consider that generally a bad idea.
