Screen on time is just that, the time you get with the screen on, the brightness is irrelevant, but since it affects the numbers it's usually quoted. By your standard almost no one should report their screen on time as most people don't use their devices at 100% brightness constantly.

Lolol. You were too fast to reply. It was a question.

opinions please!!
I bought my tab s 8.4 2 months ago and i'm having almost every battery issues posted here.

Erratic percentage variations, when it shuts down from low battery i turn it on again and it shows me it has 40% for example. Then i keep using it and it drains incredibly fast. This cycle goes one until it the battery is at 1%.

I've seen somewhere that this was a loose battery connector. I opened it, pop it out and then plugged it in again. Nothing changed and i lost my warranty.

Any suggestions??

Are you rooted at the moment? Maybe try a custom rom to see if the problem is based on the software. (If you aren't rooted, this is a good reason to do it now )

I've been having the same issues and tried everything even sent it to Samsung but nothing. I finally decided to switch the battery out and viola im getting 8hrs sot. I wake up in the morning and the battery meter is on the same number. Battery was $35 plus it came with a free toolkit. Now the battery is fixed and I'm running blisspop I'm finally 100% happy with thisntab
