You can use these commands, once you've got root access (as per: [latest BNL2 firmware]):
[credits to:]

# mount -o remount,rw /
# vconftool -g 6514 set -t string db/setting/cityname_id "IDS_WCL_BODY_CITYNAME_LONDON"
# vconftool -g 6514 set -t string db/setting/timezone_id "Europe/London"
# rm -f /opt/etc/localtime
# ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Seoul /opt/etc/localtime
# mount -o remount,ro /
[not needed but it's fast reboot so why not]
# reboot watch

I've tested on my Gear 2 and probably works on Gear 2 Neo too.

Instructions as follows:

  1. On the screen that says "Select the device you want to connect from the list", repeteadly tap on the "Gear 2" part on the top-left corner of the screen. I think you need to tap around 25 or 30 times.
  2. A popup will appear: "Please press BT address while 3 seconds".
  3. Wait a few seconds until the popup dismisses itself
  4. Now tap and hold on the "Gear 2" part again.
  5. After 3 seconds the setup wizard should disappear!!!!

If you mess up, tapping "Previous" and then "Next" again resets the counter.

WOW. This really works. Wonder how you guys find things like this. Amazing.

After a late night session of trying to get my gear 2 neo to sync with my SGS5 running CM12, this saved me from having to dig out an old analogue watch just to tell the time tomorrow at work!
