OK edit to above..it connects and I get call notifications but can't seem to get email or hangouts notifications.

Do you turn on the message acces in de setting menu?? I forget it on first time! Now i recieved all my messages. Sorry fort stupid english

80% of the functionality works with this fix.The media controller is still an issue.But, it is still an awesome fix. Thanks for the link.

Are you not running this on a Nexus 4? If so, it doesn't work at 100% already. There is no change in functionality of the app. But if you are happy to not update...good for you

It also happened to me, just update your Gear Fit to the latest firmware, i'll attach it here.
Follow this tutorial but using firmware i attached.

Player doesn't work

Some people say it's impossible to control music player ...

When I'm trying to pause the music or switch the song, my gear fit gives an error and disconnects... Nevertheless I can change the volume.

Are you in The NE5 firmware? Pausing music crashes for me on NE5 too. I haven't tried to update to NG2 or whatever the newest is.

Running Android 5.0.2 LP (CM12, Resurrection ROM, Arter's kernel 4.0b2 on GT-9300), ro.product.manufacturer changed to some nonsence, and still does have fc every time I try to start the app. It installs fine, but it can't start.

LP was released for SGS5 a month and half ago, btw. I know it, because I flashed stock LP ROM to my father's phone at that time.

It doesn't work ... Actually, I can receive my notifications.
But I can't : * reject calls
* open applications from Gear Fit's notifications
* control music player
So ... no change compared with the old APKs
