Here's what I'm looking for in a tablet, the list is ordered from most important to least important.
1. A very good screen. The TF700's screen was the perfect size.
2. A fast internet browsing experience.
3. Removable storage would be nice.
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5" is an excellent option. Beautiful AMOLED 2K screen (best on the market), great battery life, Snapdragon 800, 3GB RAM. MicroSD slot. Be sure to get the LTE variant, because the WiFi/3G edition has a lesser Exynos.
I came from a TF700T too. The I/O issues were very
annoying. Went to a Galaxy NotePro 12.2" LTE. Fantastic tablet, incredibly fast. There's a 10.1" variant if you find 12.2" too big. The only downside is the LCD screen. 2K, but not as crisp as LED. Sadly, it didn't come with an AMOLED screen, and I wanted the Spen. It's perfect for multimedia purposes

I have one of those. It's even more sluggish, slow and unresponsive than the TF700T on a bad day. At all cost, avoid the Tab 2/3/4.
They're very low-end devices. The TF700T was 1920x1200, the Tab 3&4 are 1280x800. QuadCore 1.2Ghz where the TF700T had QuadCore 1.6GB. That should tell you enough.
