Unhappy No Root Access on SM-G310HN
I also own the Samsung Galaxy Ace Style SM-G310HN, running KitKat Version 4.4.2. I have had no success with gaining root access. I tried TowelPieRoot from her://
Results were "Device Not Supported".
Has anybody found a solution as of June 2015?

Many thanks in advance.

Cool Latest version of Android that can be rooted on SM-G310HN?
Thanks for the advice about downgrading.

What is the latest version of Android that will run on the Samsung Galaxy Ace Style (SM-G310HN) that can be rooted?

I am new to using smart phones, although have plenty of experience installing Windows and Linux on PCs. Can you please suggest where I might find suitable firmware to downgrade my phone, and perhaps a good tutorial on how to reinstall the firmware?

Many thanks,

Any suggestions about what version of Android to downgrade to and where to find a copy that will be compatible with the SM-G310H?

Or better still, any news on a new method to root with Kitkat 4.4.2?
