Hi all,

I was searching through the forums but can't seem to find an answer for this. I have a Galaxy S5 through work and the only way for me to get my corporate email is through Mobileiron/Touchdown. I don't mind being not rooted, but I would definitely prefer to use native exchange over Touchdown. Is there a way to use native exchange instead? I tried the "exchange bypass" thread but the apks won't install.

FYI, I was able to figure it out without needing to install anything additional or even root my device. Not sure if it will work for all of you, but what I did was:
  • Once Mobileiron and Touchdown are set up on your device, open Mobile@Work
  • Open the menu and choose "Options"
  • Choose "Email Status"
  • Choose "Email Account Info"
  • You should see a whole bunch of options used to set up Touchdown (i.e. email, domain, username, server, etc). Use these same settings to set up a native exchange account in Android settings
