I'm planning on buying an android tablet and found some cheap 8gb tablets with 1gb of ram called Ematic EGQ307RD and I was wondering if it is any good. So has anyone ever used one of these, are they good, and are they rootable and able to support a custom recovery as in cwm or tarp. Thanks for any help.

I haven't tried Ematic tablet but a few other cheap ones.. In general, they suck pretty bad! It is with tablets as everything else: You get what you pay for.. I personally would have waited until I could afford some other tablet (Xperia, Samsung)

I'm not looking to spend it all on the tablet because I'm going to buy an n64, a couple of ps3 and n64 games, and repair my ps3. So I am looking only to spend $100 cash or is a tablet costing that much or less not worth it?
