For Android in general, I really like how easy it was to pick up programming for it from learning Java in college. Its great to be able to program and mod a device I use on a daily basis. On my current phone, Moto X, I can't live without the active notifications and the always on Google Now voice command has come in handy many times when I've either lost my phone or need directions.

I have a Kindle Fire HD 2nd gen. Good thing:It can do good in Geekbench. Haven't tested in Geekbench, but I tested it in AnTuTu Benchmark and it's just perfect.
Bad thing:It's a battery sipper with all the amazon stuff on it.
EDIT:I tested it in Geekbench and it doesn't do well
