Hello xda i was in the middle of making a security guide for cm11 when i noticed something scary. My kernel and network logs show that my traffic is routed through the department of defense. A netstat in terminal shows that my ip is a dod ip.

Can someone tell me wtf is going on.

After some investigating I found that T-Mobile's internal IP addresses ran out a few years back. Most of the time a T-Mobile device would get a 100.xxx.xxx.xxx address. Now, however they have 30.xxx.xxx.xxx and 31.xxx.xxx.xxx. DoD reserved begins with 30.0.0.0/0. So when I looked up internal on whois it showed DoDnet. Honest mistake!

Although I have noticed my firewall logs rejecting packets to and from several Backbones and the internal dedicated routers on the T-Mobile network
