If you're looking for plain earbuds and willing to pay around $50, I recommend the Etymotic MC5. My wife and I both have them and really love the sound quality.

I recommend these:
http://steelseries.com/us/products/a...gaming-headset

Steel Series Flux In Ear,
A truly excellent sounding pair of in ear headphones, with a good mic for android.

I've tried several (Klipsch S4a II, Creative Aurvana In-Ear 3, Vsonic VC02, various UE/Logitech ones) and these are my favorite so far. Overall the Flux In-Ear have good sound across the board, and good bass response - but not excessive (S4a!!!)

I use MediaDevil Artisanphonics luxury wood earphones with built-in microphone for my Nexus 5. These in-earphones produce powerful sound with vibrant bass and balanced musical detail.
