Nexus 5 Qi nightstand

Yesterday i made my Qi nightstand. Guess this is the right spot to share it with the world

Part list:




1: Finding right spot for the charger.







2: First milling line, Desk is 2,2 cm thick, milling till 2,5 mm:




3: Removed the frond side of the Qi chager.




4: Ducktape!




5: READY!! (And it's charging )

well done, how much thickness u left between the table top and the machined material under?

3 mm thickness left. It's good for now, but the charing spot is quit small. It works great, but i need to lay the phone on the correct location.
Maybe there are stronger Qi chargers, i dont know. But it works quite good for me now

I have a small white line on the desk, now it's easy to place the nexus on the correct location.
